Modifications
Not a modification, but this car was one of a handful of long wheelbase series 1 xj6's with the 4" longer back door, it had also been fitted out inside as if it were a series 1 Daimler Van Den Plas, with separate rear bucket seats , leather door upholstery and full wooden door capping pieces , it had been a custom ordered & built car for its wealthy first owner who basically wanted a non vinyl roofed , non V12 engined , 6cylinder LWB Jaguar Van Den Plas.
