History
I owned this car for well over 10 years, I looked at it first at the home of its original owners at Cronulla Beach , it was showing a mere 17,000 miles , rego DVV342, the owners had a XP Falcon Coupe DVV343 as well, the car was like new at 20yrs of age , it had the high output green/gold Thunderbird "side-oiler" 390- where a special oil filler pipe runs from the top of the right hand side of the engine straight into the oil pipes back to the sump for quick oil fillups when used for racing purposes. This car was pristine, before iI bouhght it it was sold/given to the Grand nephew of its first owner , he within a few months traded it on a holden Jackaroo , I saw it this second time & struck a deal on the spot with the car dealer, I had liked the look of both 1965 & 1966 Galaxies from when I was a kid & was determined to have one one day & was glad to own this time warp new example , I put on well over 100,000 miles & it just did not show , these were a quality car & the worlds first car built totally of fully GALVANISED steel , as a way of stopping rust from ever starting , built to a standard , not a price .
