History
Vehicle is the last of the Mark 1 Cortina's built in 1967. The vehicle was purchased in a pretty bad state and an extensive restoration followed over a two year period. The engine is not the original 122E block, but a 120E, but few of these older GT have the correct engine.-The head is a correct GT head. (Most were blown up racing the cars) A very smart looking vehicle, goes really well and turns heads where it goes. A very enjoyable vehicle to drive and lots of fun.
Modifications
The vehicle has been restored to as original as possible. The generator was removed and an alternator fitted and the polarity changed to negative earth. Electronic ignition inserted inside the distributor and inertia retractable seat belt were fitted.
