I bought this car in 2006.
It has been my weekend fun car.
I've done about 30,000 ks over the last 9 years.
Full receipts since new (3 previous owners I think).
I have performed break-fix over the years. Every time something has broken I have replaced it with the best quality components I can get.
Some of the work completed over the last few years:
Complete new exhaust from manifold back
Re-cored radiator
New water pump
Timing belt (late 2014)
Clutch
Water hoses
The car has been serviced at Charles St Auto (that means a lot for anyone in Adelaide) throughout my ownership.
Mechanical:
There are a couple of things I want to fix before handing over the car.
One of the air hoses has broken. I have ordered a complete Baker oil breather silicone hose kit (included with the car).
I am also having the distributor and vacuum advance completely reconditioned.
Body:
The lacquer on the rear of the roof has started to peel slightly.
There is slight damage to the red strip at the right rear. Very faint scratch/ dent on the front right quarter panel and very slight dent on the right C panel.
You might also notice that one of the lights is newer and a little slanted. The mounting on the indicator housing has broken. In order to straighten up the light a new indicator housing will need to be purchased.
