History
Bought this bike in Bangkok over Christmas 2013 after doing business with an electronic PCB manufacturer. I then rode it down to Phuket to be with my family on Boxing Day. This ride was on my Bucket List of things to do before I die. It may have been the ride which ended my life as the roads in Thailand are so dangerous. I did the ride over two days and only rode in daylight hours as the trucks and tour buses will simply drive over you at night :( and I cant see the pot holes well with my old eyes.
I probably wont ever do this ride again but I will ride it around Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi when I get back over there for holidays. I love the warm Thailand air in my face and the police are bribed easily when traffic offences occur :)
You can also see my bloated stomach from excessive Thai food and Scotch whisky, a snap of my two boys on the beach in Phuket in January 2014 and my most beautiful wife when I met her back in November 2003.
Modifications
None vehicle is standard. Replaced front rotor and break pads for safety before leaving Bangkok. Also restored the front and rear turn signals which were non existent due to some previous Thai owner who figured they are not really necessary (typical stuff over there). Also replaced front tyre before the long road trip !!!
