History
Pierobon X60R
This is a kit bike modelled around the Ducati air cooled engine. there are only 2 known examples of this model in Australia and only 75 kits were made by the factory. This bike is No:75. Pierobon is a small Italian company and is renowned for its extraordinary achievements in the world of motorcycle racing and the passion of its founder Riccardo Pierobon and his Family. the Pierobon name is well known throughout the racing world and the X60R has evolved from the desire to create a bike that has blistering power to weight ratio and the inclusion of Moto Gp technology to provide unrivalled handling in one word EMOTION! My bike has been put together at my home over the last five years and been fitted with the Ducati 1100 evo motor it has Ohlins suspension Brembo brakes and a Termignoni Exhaust along with many other personalised parts and some stunning paint. She has an all alloy hand welded frame and swing arm and hand beaten alloy tank and lots of cnc'd goodies as well as many man hours that went into building this mostly Italian work of art. She tips the scales at about 138kgs and produces 112.5 horsepower so very respectable. This has been a dream of mine for some years and I am pleased to introduce her thanks to the Shannons Show and Shine.
