History
I'm the second Owner, and my Parents purchased the Clubby for me in 2011 when I was going through a difficult stage of my life after my first marriage ended.
Modifications
The vehicle was in poor condition as the original (1st) owner hadn't ever garaged it, had sign-written both sides to promote his security business, and had driven it on the unsealed roads leading to his property.
I removed the vinyl signage, and progressively restored the paintwork, removed as much of the interior as I could in order to remove years of dust, cleaned the carpets, and had the front coulston seats recovered in the original leather.
The vehicle is unmodiefied, and completely original apart from an after-market sound system fitted by the original owner, that I plan to remove and replace with a factory original unit.
I'm time poor and not mechanically competent, and so my mechanic has recently fitted a new water pump, radiator, all cooling hoses, new engine management components to suit the retained factory ECM (stock), Delco electronics, leads, plugs, coil, distributor etc., together with rebuilding the gearbox and clutch.
With 180K on the odometer, my Clubby is now running like a dream!
