History
Time for a V8! Having really enjoyed the XU1, except for its reliability I thought I would try the new V8 SLR5000. It was a toss up between it and a Charger 770 at the time and I remember test driving the Charger in the wet, that was way too scary to comtemplate in Tassie's weather so the gold SLR5000 found itself in the garage. No problems this time, it was quick and cruised in a very easy way with the K's just clicking away as you watched the fuel gauge fall at just as fast a pace. I should have kept this one as pristine examples are going for 10-20 times the new cost which from memory was around $3,300.
