History
Imported from the USA in the 1990's this Corvette Stingray was originally sold through Curtis Chevrolet in Washington DC. I purchased the car in 2009 from the third owner and have massaged the 'vette into its current trophy winning form.
Modifications
Body on restoration over ten years, this '73 coupe is a fine example of the classic C3 body styling that was produced from 1968 - 1982. The '73 was the last year that a Stingray would have a chrome metal rear bumper, and the first year that introduced the new low impact resistant front nose clip redesigned from the windscreen forward. Subtle modifications including the 72 spoke L.A. Custom wire wheels keep the Stingray looking period and many features have been enhanced including updated Vintage Air and Shark Bite Coil Over rear suspension. Original interior complemented with near carpet and updated audio system make for a comfy cruiser.
