Sold new at Ford dealership in Leeton NSW in 1974 & traded by original owner in 1992 at the Ford dealership in Griffith NSW.
The dealer principal's son immediately claimed the GT as his own car & carried out all needed rust repairs, fresh seat trim, fitment of factory integrated selectaire air conditioning system from a wrecked ZG Fairlane fitted & the bonnet stripes added also.
Sometime in late 2002/early 2003, the dealer's son sold the GT to a private buyer from Coleambally NSW but the history of the car is not known from here until I purchased it April 2010 from a private seller near Gosford NSW.
I sold the car in Jan 2014 after giving her a bit of a tidy up which included another fresh set of the correct cloth seat trim inserts as per the factory optional B2 trim code that the car had.
Modifications
Apart from a 4 barrel 750cfm Holley carby, the car was as standard as they come.
