History
I personally imported this Foxbody Mustang from the Bay area, California USA in early 2015. I always loved Dick Johnson's Mustang even though Brock was my hero. The car was originally owned by a lady, the leader of the fan club for a popular 70s and 80s rock outfit called Yesterday and Today, later called Y&T. She passed it onto Leonard "Thunderfoot" Hayes, a renowned drummer and founding member of the band who was her best friend. He had fallen on tough times with health and finance issues. Upkeep of the car falling behind, financial issues and vandalism caused him to sell the car, resulting in me purchasing it via Craigslist from Australia. This caused some friction between the original owner and Leonard but I managed to get them talking again immediately prior to his death. I am in constant contact with Taryn Benn (her original CA personalised plates are behind the historic ones!), the original owner and we will be seeing her in person for the first time this Christmas in the USA.
Modifications
1993 spec Mustang wheels to replace the obselete metric style rims that you cannot get rubber for these days.
2.5 inch true dual exhaust with BBK extractors for that original, true 5.0 sound.
