History
I was so proud of my Morris Major, that I bought second hand. It was always washed and polished, tyres blackened with black shoe polish. They shone brightly.
The car was a dream to drive except when the petrol pump wouldn't pump. Left me stuck on the present, Sydney Cahill Expressway in peak hour traffic once, and twice more in the next 3 days on another main road.
I fixed the pump by taking to it with my Dad's ball pane hammer. Funny thing was that it never played up again after that.
