History
Started life as a 1600cc Escort Sport. The car was rebuilt for the 1998 Great Endeavour Rally.
It had an extra leaf in the rear springs and King springs in the front. It also had race seats, 6 point cage, full harness belts and a sump guard. Apart from a busted ignition/steering lock, the car performed faultlessly though out the 6,500km, 9 day rally. Our aim was to finish, which we did, with a 7th place in class and 79th outright.
