This car has been in the Family since new.
Resprayed in 2013 for 40th year celebration same colour as original.
Interesting History for this Torana. Originally built for export to New Zealand.
Colour is original Eggmont maroon. This is a non standard Torana colour but is as stamped on compliance plate 6818. When exported colour could be requested outside standard colour range by purchaser. Eggmont Maroon is a colour from the HD range.
Modifications
The engine has been modified slightly.
Flat top pistons. Valves upgraded for unleaded fuel. Mild cam Stage 1. retrofitted Stromberg WW carburettor and manifold from a 161 XU-1. Extractors and 2" exhaust system.
Sounds and goes great. Drives like new. 118,000 original Km. Engine has done 30,000 km since 2013
