Purchased in 2010 as a run down rally car from NSW.
Moved it to QLD, new cage, seats, belts and avery rudimentary body makeover.
CAMS log booked
In 2013 fitted new upgraded engine and button clutch, lightened flywheel, new carbs and new headers and complete system
In 2014 Fuel system upgrade and more mods around the place
In 2015 upgraded front end with new bits and ajustable front end bits
In 2016 I washed it and filled up the window washer bottle
In 2015 started upgrading to LSD and lowering the car some 3 to 4 inches
In 2016 Diff and all over lowering are continuing
In May 2016 all suspension, brakes and diff work completed
In June 2016 I knocked the car straight, threw some overcoat on it and had it spreayed with some cool retro art.
In July 2016 new shoes and rubber and new door, boot and bonnet rubbers all round
In August 2016 I had it tuned up and dyno'd
Now reday for public viewing.
In Dec 2016 I commenced a refurb of the interior with included - repaint in orange, new seats and belts, custom door trims and dash, all new VDO gauge cluster, rewire, battery moved from boot to back seat area, new fuel system with surge tank.
2017 plans are to low the rear end and replace suspension to stop axle tramp and also upgrade front brakes to get more bite.
In 2018 I will commence on the last bit I haven't touched yet, the gearbox. Plan to fit a set of holinger gears across 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Modifications
Too many to list, but I have it good authority that the window winders are standard in the front and back. The truth is that the ones on the back doors have been removed to prevent anyone that is stuck in there from getting any air.
