History
This vehicle was imported from England in 2004. It has had some very special options added to it from new. These include a Carat Duchatelet sports kit including lower suspension, body kit, bigger wheels (currently has AMG wheels fitted) full leather interior and a factory alarm system. This is the only 190e Carat Duchatelet I know of in Australia (would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows more).
Modifications
Starting life as a 190e 2.6 it has had the Carat Duchatelet treatment from new. Carat Duchatelet is a Belgium company who during the 1980's modified Mercedes vehicles. These modifications were not cheap and the company was similar to AMG in doing modifications. Carat Duchatelet now has specialised in building armoured vehicles.
