What started as the cheapest AU Fairmont Ghia I could find on Facebook Marketplace, resulted in something far more substantial than I ever expected.
I purchased the car initially as a joke, because like many I considered AU Falcon's to look rediculous - and this particular example came with zero service history and was one of the dirtiest cars I'd ever seen. But it turns out that you can polish a turd, and the car completely won me over.
Not only has it never missed a beat, but it is by far one of the most comfortable and relaxing cars I've ever driven. I now can't imagine life without it, and have set about giving it the car, maintenance and attention that it deserves.
