History
Six years ago we came home to find our garage door open and our Honda Euro (and my wife's jewellery, together with my fake Rolex) gone. We received our insurance and bought This car. When I tried to get a personalised plate reissued, I told the TMR that it was stolen but their records said it was recovered.
A call to Police Line did tell me that yes, it was recovered only 4 days after being stolen but the detective failed to report it to me. I tracked it down to a towing yard in Brisbane. We went and paid the towing fee and took her home. After quite a few calls the insurance company let me return their payout and we gave it to our daughter who still drives it every day.
We liked our earlier Honda so much we replaced it with this one which we purchased from a BMW dealer in Sydney. A look at the log book showed a name I thought I knew. He was the deputy general manager of a Big 4 bank. When I went to put my wife's phone numbers into the car's onboard phone memory, I was shocked to see that there were a lot of numbers already stored which included the Prime Minister and a few parliamentarians but also a who's who of Australian businessmen. I was tempted to call his wife to say we loved the car.
We recently purchased our other daughter a very well cared for Euro.
