History
I had a Volvo for one daughter so I had to be fair for the second when she needed a car. A visit to the Volvo wrecker found this beauty. For $300 with no roadworthy it was a bargain. It looked so bad. The paint was totally wrecked, the seats inside had no tears but the foam was on the floor but it drove so sweetly. At first I could not believe it but when I looked at the odometer, it said 999,910. It couldn't be true. It still drove so well, sharp steering, used no oil and the brakes were powerful. No rust holes. The only concern was it was a bit slow to go into reverse gear. Daughter drove it between the Gold Coast and Brisbane at M1 speeds for 3 years until it refused to go into reverse. Being careful to not use reverse, she drove for another few months until Mum and Dad bought her a new Honda Jazz. I went back to the wrecker and asked if he wanted an almost pristine Volvo with 29,000 kilometers on it. He offered me $200 and I took it.
