History
After driving a very unreliable Wolseley 6/80 for 18 months, I'd saved $300 so I could move up a few years. More lessons to learn. Never buy a car from a fisherman who lived by the ocean. I'd also never driven an automatic before so I thought that the long intervals between gear changes were normal. Needless to say I became very familiar with rust repairs and the Holden Factory Workshop Manual. After a few months, I could venture out of town and we did quite a few long trips together. I also became adept at changing out cracked bell housings and used to carry one in the boot. Despite the noise, she always got me home or to where I could make the repair. I put in a Premier interior, did a bit of paint work and she looked the goods but performance was somewhat, er, low.
Modifications
Premier interior, wide wheels (in black with chrome trims of course) and an extractor with a hot dog muffler.
