Over my single years I bought and sold quite a few 48/215s as back then you could pick up a car for $50.00 to $150.00 and spend a few bucks and double your money when you sold it. Most were done and sold within a few weeks but I did keep an early production one for almost a year as it had been "hot rodded" with a cam and twin carburettors as well as a floor change and pulled quite hard.
