My mother purchased her Holden Kingswood new for $2988 on 25.06.1969 from A.B. Watson Pty Ltd - General Motors Dealer in Greensborough Victoria, because my father became tired of driving her to visit her family in Mt Gambier, South Australia.At 42 years old my mother sat for her driving licence, and continued to drive the Kingswood regularly until she turned 85 whereupon she handed me the keys and she became the passenger! The Kingswood has remained in the family following her passing, continues to be driven on a regular basis and has been lovingly cared and meticulously serviced over the past 51 years and remains a joy to drive today. The car is in original condition.
