History
I was the second owner. I bought him from a british ex pat who migrated to Australia and brought it with him. It was supplied new to him by 'Ramponi' of London. It is the most powerful and last of the 3 164 series and is the airbag model. The only higher spec model was the left hand drive only Q4 AWD which was heavier and slower accept in compromised traction conditions.
This bum dragger was a bit special in terms of getting the power down early in a corner...chipped, with 250hp thru the front wheels and not much weight it was 7000rpm of curly mountain road opera and (without the driveline power loss of a rear driver) impressively fast off the line and in rolling increment so long as you had 4 grand on the tacho when nailing it.
I recently sold him off with all my Alfa collection of 8...to return to Classic Iron (Torque). I'm over the speed and into need.
Modifications
18 inch Alfa 159 TI copy wheels. Improved slotted and drilled rotors and improved pads. Lowered rear suspension. RAGAZZON rear exhaust. Chipped.
