This car was left out in a paddock for several years to eventually become a rusted wreck. We puchased the car in 2008 and found the motor was in good condition just needing 50 years of grease and oil removed but the body and interior needed restoring. We stripped down the body and removed all the interior, The body was hand stripped to bear metal and only two small areas required rust to be removed prior to a full two pack respray followed by all the interior being re-upholstered including a new hood lining. All chrome trim is original just cleaned and polished. The plan was to keep everything as original as possible. We registered this car Dec 2010. This car is a pleasure to drive and is a real head turner when we go for a cruise.
