History
I bought this GTiR as a bunky while my Skyline GTR was having an engine rebuild following an oil pump failure. It is basically sound and good fun on road and track. It is a GTi-RA, i.e. a road model, rather than the rally special GTi-RB.
Chassis No. RNN14 001502
Model No. EBYNRVFN14TOALJ - - A
The GTiR is sometimes dubbed the GTR's little brother. It was the first production model from Nissan to be fitted with the Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All-terrain (ATTESA) 4WD system, which went on to become the heart of the GTR. In the latter, the ATTESA is rear wheel biased, but in the Pulsar it is front wheel biased.
As a bunky, it is fine. As a track car, it may have another life! But alas, no. Sold to the nice man from Victoria on 1 February 2020. I am sure he will enjoy it as much as I have. Sad to see it go.
