History
The Ute that Ford never built!
It was originally a 4 door "440" model. Extensive all steel body work has been done (even the tonneau!) to transform it into what it is today. My wife purchased it from the builder for my 50th birthday this year. It is fully engineered, Transport SA approved, "club" registered, and of course, insured with Shannon's!
Modifications
Rear window section including C pillar grafted to B pillar. Lower rear window frame and boot hinges retained to allow extended steel boot lid to become tonneau. Rear doors removed and new sheet metal installed to replace doors and enclose lower door frame areas where previous doors resided. Custom stainless steel body trims. Oregon timber tray and interior highlights. Bucket seats stripped, converted to single bench seat and retrimmed as such. Hidden chassis bracing behind seat continuing to floor area adjacent rear wheel arches.
