History
The “Datana 307” was built by my Dad in his garage over the course of 4 years and he drives it every week.
He was in his early 60s at the time of the build and did everything by hand by himself, on a budget. The concept, execution and presentation, from engine to paint and everything in between, are all his - using only technology from 1965-1975 encompassing elements of performance cars from around the world. A Japanese frame and shell, an American V8 motor and 4 speed wrapped in Australian skin.
He still reminisces of the 60s and 70s and built this to appear as his dream factory prototype of that era. This truly is a result of pure passion and love for classic cars. I couldn’t be more proud of the sheer work he put into this and hope you enjoy the result.
Note: for photos we used an old camera and got shots on an old NSW highway to complete the period correct feeling. Enjoy the 70s all over again!
