History
This toy started it's life as a VN Calais and was gifted to us approx Feb 2010 minus the engine and gearbox. Initially it was meant to be a throw together build and was going to be a tow car for our blown VN SS - sadly we weren't able to locate a VN SS bodykit so things went a bit far and we took it up a few notches and decided we'd build a streeter that can be displayed at shows and can also be driven on the street!!
Modifications
HDT Aero replica - genuine HDT bodykit, bare metal respray in falcon's RIPCURL "Breeze", sitting on 19*8.5" and 19*9.5" Speedy Envy Mk III wheels, shorted diff, LSD.
355 stroker, modified come racing manifold with a tbs 871 blower topped with an enderle big & ugly a customised engine bay
Completely rewired as a VY SS, fitted with a vy dash and 4 x VE HDT leather seats with the rear seat custom designed to suit the car, matching door trims
Full clarion stereo including dvd/sat nav/rear screens, 2*12" clarion subs in custom boot enclosure with clarion amps
