History
I have now had this Cooper S for over 20 years, it arrived in boxes and over a long period I gave it a full restoration with a few little tweaks to make her even more fun to drive. Since I completed the restoration we have done the tour category in Targa High Country three times, including the 10th anniversary where it snowed! It was more like the Monte Carlo Rally of old.
Modifications
I fitted Cobra Classic seats to the interior for more comfort and support.
It runs on fully adjustable Hi- Lo suspension, adjustable camber and castor kits front and rear, Koni adjustable shocks and crossed drilled rotors on the front. Hi comp pistons, some head work, race/ rally cam, Weber carb and tuned length extractors. All riding on some Mini Lite style 10’’ wheels with sticky Yokohama tyres.
