History
Ive owned the car for nearly three years and I’ve been gradually upgrading it while maintaining a stock appearance. The car is very straight and rust repairs have been minor. We found the original bill of sale inside one of the doors. Both the original owner and the Chevy salesman are still kicking ! The car gets driven every weekend, weather permitting.
Modifications
Original 327 small block with Edelbrock E-street heads, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, Holley 650CFM alloy carb, Hooker headers with 2 1/2" exhaust and MSD ready to run billet distributor and Blaster 2 coil. Suspension bushes have been replaced and Koni shocks installed. The vintage American Torque Thrust D wheels were on the car when I bought it. Most recently we just completed a front disc brake upgrade using the Wilwood DynaLite kit from Summit Racing and 1" lowering to front end via King coil springs. Also recently replaced the 2 speed Powerglide with a TH700R4 with repro centre console and floor mounted shifter. Diff was changed to 3.73 from 3.08 with LSD and new Yukon axles.
