History
I have owned this vehicle since 1983 when I purchased it from Miss Edna Kusay of Mundubbera Qld.. It had been owned originally by her father, Walter. It had 53,000 miles when I bought it, and has 113,000 now. Was repainted and re-upholstered in 1984, and again in 2014-15 it was given a bare-metal re-spray & new upholstery in as close to original colours as possible. It has the optional Tilli brand "Detroit" stripe kit fitted. Period accessories fitted include Wilsonia guage for Oil, Amp and Temp., Airchief push-button radio, rear venetians, rear wheel spats, mud flaps, Jack Myers headers, weather shields, day-night clip-on interior mirror, repro parcel shelf, and door-handle scratch plates. Engine was also rebuilt with hardened valve seats to allow use of unleaded petrol. Recently has been fitted with rebuilt VH24 Power brake booster.
