History
1971 XY GT. Build as a complete knockdown kit by Gord Australia, assembled in Port Elizabeth South Africa and brought back to Australia around 2006.
Unrestored, untouched, hasn’t been driven for 20+ years. Like a 1971 time capsule of original components. A work in progress to restore the brakes to functioning again, restore the fuel system.
Original Autolite 4300 carb replaced by a Holley 1850 at some stage, but a date coded correct 4300 currently being restored to go back on.
Modifications
Carb replaced with a Holley in the 1980s? Right fenders and left rear door repainted at some stage, otherwise all original finishes.
