History
1969 Dodge Charger R/T. 426 Hemi, A833 4-speed manual transmission. Dana 60 3.54:1 rear axle. Hemi-Orange with black vinyl roof. Black interior with bucket seats. 8-track stereo with a Credence Clearwater Revival 8-track tape in the glove compartment. Standard body-coloured steel rims and Dodge hub caps. Firestone Wide-Oval Redline F70-15 bias-ply tyres (I have now replaced with Firestone Wide-Oval Redline ‘bias-look radials’. Those bias-plys were scary to drive on!)
The car was restored to like-new standard in 2007 by ‘Mopars by Crane’ of Bradenton Florida. The next owner was an avid muscle-car collector from Indianapolis. I purchased it from him in 2018 while I was on a work assignment in Tampa Florida. I had it in the USA for two years and entered it in numerous car shows where it always attracted a lot of attention and won many trophies. The photo of the Charger with the US Air Force KC-135 tanker was taken at the MacDill Air Force Base in October 2018. I shipped the car from Tampa Florida to Brisbane QLD in June 2020 and it now resides in Samford Valley.QLD.
