History
It is a 1965 Series 1 4.2 BUT yes, it does have a Series 2 bonnet fitted for the E Type spotters. Terrible I know, but I didn't have much money to spend on the old girl back in 1979 when I got it and they wernt worth as much as they are today. Not the best, but I'd seen a lot worse, the paint was re-finished and I polished up the engine alloy bits, but sold it on eventually for more than I paid - unfortunately it's one that got away!
Modifications
None really, back then it was cool to keep it as original as possible (bonnet excepted) - it could be resto-modded now without too much criticism I suppose as it did have its design faults; engine was a gem of course, but the brakes were a challenge...
