Purchased in 1975 the engine already sported a single 45mm side draught Webber carburettor, a sports exhaust system c/w 'Lukey' muffler plus additional gauges so having already gone through fitting these items (and more) on my 1969 Toyota Corolla back in '72 it was pleasing not to have to do anything to this vehicle at all. Also fitted with ROH Mag wheels the car not only drove superb but looked as good as it sounded. The LT Celica was certainly a master-stroke by Toyota when first released in 1972. End result: a reasonably priced 'sporty coupe' with low cost insurance that anyone could afford....Mike
