History
Tough little daily ute that just keeps soldiering on. Up the MightyBoy!!
I actually sold the vehicle about a year ago as it was a big money pit. And after missing it for so long and finally seeing it up for sale again, i had to grab it again. The engine was changed from the 550 3cyl to the 800 3cyl before my first ownership and after that, its had its carburetor rebuilt, its stereo upgraded, a custom steering wheel, minor rust work, plus a rebuilt head and timing assembly.
The 1st owner had it as a company car for Moxham Automotives in Sydney, and from what iv'e heard over the phone, it was a very good work pony and they're happy it lives on today. I have also attempted to redo the "SUZITECH" on the bonnet with my meagre skills with a spray can and its come out alright.
It also has amazing fuel economy, when i purchased it for the second time, i filled it up to the point fuel was spewing out the filler hole, and drove from Newcastle to Wollongong in a combination of freeway driving and heavy Sydney traffic. I checked the tank when i arrived and it had used a third of a tank. Pretty good considering this has a 25L tank!
Im hoping to keep it as long as it lasts, and i will certainly be buying another in the future.
