History
I have owned my Alpine since November 1996, it was and still is my first car.
I got involved in Sunbeams learning to drive my fathers SIVGT Alpine. The Alpine sreved as my daily car for several years, the first 1.5 without a softtop!
The car has been active within the Sunbeam Car Club of Victoria who have always been a great source of support and encouragement. http://www.sunbeamcarclubvictoria.com.au/. The car has featured at many shows, displays inclusing federation sqaure, the australian Grand prix and even featured in a James Bond spoof video clip for the screaming jets in 1996.
The car was used in the 2012 Australian Grand Prix drivers parade and continues to provide enjoyment after all these years. It now shares garage space with my 1966 Sunbeam Tiger MKIA
