History
The car was delivered to Victoria new in 1951. Later come to South Aust and found by Peter Ivey founding member of the MG Car Club of SA, it was under a tree no roof and called "Compost", you can imagine the state. Peter under took a nine year restoration including many hours with Ray Finch Restorations, engine built by Car Craft also at Mt Barker SA. Peter Ivey sold the car in 2013 due to health reasons. The new owner Prof. Peter Cundy had the car for four years along with other MG's. I acquired it Oct 2017, it in Conours condition and has always been on Historic Registration with the MGCC of SA and will continue that way entering many events, e,g, All British day, Bay to Birdwood, concours level.
Modifications
1350 Modified Blue Printed and Balanced Shaved Head with the standard TD Four speed manual gearbox with syncro on 2, 3,&4 mated to an Oxford 'tall' diff.
