Imported by Lanes as a rolling chassis to save import duty and fitted with an Australian body. Most MGs came to Australia under the Empire Trade Preference scheme as unassembled chassis of British origin could be imported duty - free. Continuous racing history which continues today under CAMS historic racing log book.
Modifications
Conforms to CAMS regulations for racing & hillclimbs in historic class Ka. Cable brakes, ENV MG crash gearbox. original OHC cross flow supercharged 6 cylinder engine, all conform as an original race car.
