History
The original owner purchased the car on 18-10-1971 in Victoria and sold the car in 1975
The second owner had a road accident. Losing control and spinning 360 degrees veering off the road and through a fence and into a paddock. He bought all new panels and parts and had the car panel beaten and primed for paint. He then ran out of money and put the car in storage in 1982.
Owner number 3 tracked down the car in 2000 in a shed covered with blankets. The interior of the car was full of all new original spare parts. New steering wheel, bumpers, badges, decals, etc..
He had the car soda blasted and reprimed and painted. The car had a complete from the ground up nut and bolt restoration as per factory specifications.

There were 134 VH E37 RT chargers built. As per “Valiant Infobase”2016, there are 11 registered, 6 needing or undergoing restoration and 2 unregistered.
In April 2002 the car was the Yesterday’s Hero Show and Shine winner.
In 2006 won best overall 61-81 Chrysler at the 14th Annual Chryslers on the Murry. The car was entered into the “Dyno Challenge” and was the winner of the six-cylinder category, producing 286 BHP at the wheels.
