History
So this beauty was my Mum's car. We bought it after our BA XR6 Falcon blew its transmission to bits. The car acted as a Mum's taxi service for a number of years until we bought a small, more economical car. The Crewman (which I nicknamed The Beast), sat in our carport for a number of months, not touched.
One day in late 2020, we decided to try to start it again, so my Dad and I topped up the oil, and tried to crank her over... nothing. We decided to put new spark plugs in, so we did. In the process, I dropped an old spark plug under the car, and upon going down to pick it up, I notice all the brand new oil was one the ground. There was a 1-2 inch hole in the side of the sump, with the crankshaft dangling out.
We figured out that someone had tried to steal the car, and due to it not having any oil in it, it decided to throw some bits around the engine.
We then towed the Crewman to get repaired, which eventually happened, and then we sold it at a loss. The car is now cruising around Wagga Wagga, so give it a wave if you see it!!
