History
Unfortunately I can only trace this car back two previous owners. We purchased the car in March 2016, after the then owner had it sitting in his shed for 6 years, not touched. He did not even transfer the registration, which helped us as we had the details of the second to last owner. We have found that the motor was fully reconditioned, possibly within the last 10 years. At that stage they also modified to an SU carby, changed the battery to the boot,and installed an alternator.
Beyond that, the car is original and apart from the usual, recond. radiator, new brake booster, hoses etc., the rest has been cosmetic.
Modifications
The only modifications are under the bonnet. Some previous owner, for some reason, changed the Zenith carby to an SU, and as a result had to relocate the battery to the boot, enabling the brake booster to be fitted on the opposite side of the engine bay. I have all the parts to put it back to original but it runs beautifuly at the moment so I'm not worrying. An alternator has also been fitted previously.
