History
Full nut & bolt, ground up restoration of this 1969 Dodge Charger from our home garage, that's just been freshly completed after purchasing the car a long nine years ago. Originally a vinyl roof car with turquoise paint and a black interior, the car was stripped down had new floor pans added and had extensive body work that was needed to navigate the rust!
Rear wheel mini tubs were made and then a beautiful new paint job was applied in Dodge B5 Bright Blue including to underneath. We then set about putting the car back together with every single nut and bolt, part and piece painstakingly restored, revived or replaced. There were so many parts that were sourced from the USA directly and we even had to send away the wiper motor to the USA to be repaired as no one in Australia knew anything about them!
The original 383 donk was upgraded with a tough 528 Hemi motor and subsequently a new bonnet was needed with a bonnet scoop fitted to house the new Hemi horsepower - the original painted bonnet may become wall art now!
After many years of dreaming about this day, the car is now engineered and fully registered boasting HEMIHP number plates, ready to cruise.
