I went to buy this car in 1981 and took my father along to see it as he had a Celica. He bought it before I could and I have waited until he handed his licence in finally, after telling him for 37 years that one day I would put a V8 in it...after a ground up rebuild taking nearly 4 years it's happened. Took dad for a ride ...he loves it.
Modifications
253 V8 ,flat top pistons, mild heads, xu1 rally cam grind on v8 lobes, twin 45 sidedrafts on group C manifold, Koni and KMac suspension, Rota 15x8 rims, jdm guard flares, cut down L34 bonnet scoop, bare metal respray and full standard interior re trim.
