History
Purchased off a good friend approx 7yrs ago. Got it running for the first summer of ownership, had a blast cruising round in it. But alas it had a few small issues that needed resolving, so plans for a full resto were engaged....however life has interrupted along the way (failed race cars, first home ownership, family sickness), but now finally am beginning to make progress. Not going to be as crazy as first planned on the resto (fix the bits that need fixing rather than replacing EVERYTHING), add a few unique bits and have a car that we'll enjoy cruising around whatever the weather
Modifications
- in the process of rust repairs (boot, inner and outer front guards, front sill panel, drivers door)
- full electrical freshen up (conversion from gen to alt based system)
- freshened up / "hotter" 998 motor (twin SU's, hotter cam, engine and gearbox once over / renewal)
- "hidden in plain sight" stereo (as nice as an A series is to hear on full song, i like my tunes too)
- subtle but unique interior and exterior cues (wheels, flares, dash treatments, trim styles etc)
