History
My 1965 was bought for me as a surprise birthday present in August this year. I have always wanted a Bug and now after many ten second big and small block HQ Holden’s, I am now after something a little more lay back and with great body lines. This will be a family project that hopefully will be complete by January 2015. We have only just started this journey and we have found that it has more rust than the Titanic, so it will be the hardest restoration I have ever done, but I hope it will turn out alright, fingers and toes crossed.
Modifications
It has a 1300 cc air cooled engine that has had twin port 1640cc heads and induction put on it with some scat after market internals, but I will list it in detail when I have re-built it.
