History
This car is my 4th Sunbeam Alpine and was purchased in Perth from a deceased estate in 2011. I have spend the last 9 months installing a refurbished overdrive gearbox into the car and detailing the car in preparation for the 2012 Australian F1 GP Drivers parade. My car ferried Mark Webber on the parade lap, a real blast and a lifelong memory.
My first Alpine was purchased in my teens in 1970 as a daily driver. I have always had a passion for these cars since my early drivers years and have been lucky enough to get back into Sunbeams after a 35 year hiatis.
