History
Here is my 1979 Mk2 Escort with a Group 2 Zakspeed Body kit. This is the result of a 3 year restoration
Modifications
2ltr Pinto with 190hp on twin 48 DHLA Dellortos. Steel rods and forged pistons.
Brembo Evo 9 Front calipers with 305mm rotors. Rear has skyline GTR calipers and 290mm rotors.
Gearbox is W58 Supra 5 Speed box with 184mm twin plate race clutch
Single prop shaft leads to a Hilux rear diff with Kaaz LSD and 4.3 ratio gears
Front suspension is Gaz Gold coil-overs and 22mm sway bar with adjustable control arms and eccentric strut tops.
Rear is Bilstein Shocks with reverse eye leaf springs with added leaf to stop rebound.
Wheels Braid are Serie 4RC 15x9 fronts and 15x10 rears with Toyo R888r rubber in 225 & 235 respectively.
I am running Stack ST8130 Digital dash with custom switch panel and new E Z Wiring loom.
