History
My 350V8 (5.7Lt) 4 door Holden Monaro was built in Adelaide June 1974. Finished in Saffron Metalic paint and Doe Skin vinal interior, it has always stayed in South Australia. Apparently it was first owned by a plumber at Naracoorte for 10 years, and then purchased at a now defunct car yard on Port Rd by a Holden employee who proudly owned it for 33 Years. It has been well maintained in near original condition, with minor enhancements such as upgraded springs, shockers and headers with 21/2 inch stainless mufflers. I purchased it in early November 2017 and have had items such as the air conditioning / heating and radiator rebuilt. The interior is original except for the vinal section across the top of the back seats that also goes down the centre of the back seat and the base of the front seats were repaired and recovered. The paint is original with some patina on the blackouts, mainly on the bonnet, except for a small repair to the rear drivers side door and the front of the wheel arch made some time in the last 10 years or so which is almost invisible.
Modifications
Upgraded springs, shockers and headers with 21/2 inch pipes and mufflers.
