History
Purchased in 1984 as an addition to the Rover 3.0 Litre Coupe already in the garage. It was booked into the local Brighton Rover dealer at the time to have a steering leak rectified, but was virtually written off after the technician had left the steering wheel unfastened and collided during a test run with 3 other vehicles and a tree. After 4 months and mechanical and panel work worth more than the initial purchase price it was back on the road. The next step was to modify the engine and have it bored out to 3.9 litres with Motec fuel injection. This is how they should've come out of the factory! Although the disc brakes could NEVER keep up with the performance ability of this missile! Finally a red light runner wrote the car off and the wreck was sold for $1,500.
